Beetroot for Poznomir
I picked up a quest to grow 70 beetroot for Poznomir. Not knowing how many would grow in a patch, I laid out 4 patches, fertilized and planted. I ended up being able to plant half of the seeds, but when I turned in the 35 that grew I didn't get credited. I got the quest early on, barely in farm development. I've also been stuck in the home a few times because I can't yet afford or make warmer clothing. That means I have to keep taxes down as well. Is that a bug? Please fix it if so. Can I get credited for the 35, or will I have to keep trying?

What does the quest objective say exactly?
You probably need the total amount of 70 in one go and can't get partial credit would be my guess.

Never known a quest to accept part of the required amount, they don't usually trigger the NPC interaction until you have the whole lot.

Done this quest several times and Poznomir always gives me enough seeds to grow the 70 beetroots he requires - I plant them all and usually have some beetroots spare

Well, the quest says "Deliver to Poznomir - Beetroot x 70 (0)". The zero on the end led me to think it would count partial deliveries, i.e. 'out of 70 you have delivered 0'. What else would the zero be for? Anyway, guess I'll eventually need to expand the garden, just that I needed to buy the fertilizer after he gave me the seeds, and as I mentioned, I pay higher taxes for bigger gardens, right? Oh, well, I guess it's not over until it's over.

No, the number between brackets is the amount you currently have in your inventory. It's a way to quickly check if you have all the items the quest is asking for.

Quests like this almost always need delivery in full, so this one will only be completed once you bring him 70 beetroots in one go.
