Decorations

I have skull trophies and other decorations in my inventory but when I go into the decoration wheel in says empty and I dont have an option to hang anything. how do I decorate walls? must be missing a step or two. also my wheel decorations are not unlocked is that the issue?

You must have a hammer equipped and the "build" option selected (not destroy or repair or insulate, etc.) You then go up to an eligible, completed wall and select decorate (on PC, "e"). If you have the required items in your inventory and have purchased the blueprint, you can decorate the wall.

Keep in mind you can only decorate certain walls (all house walls, but only certain things on certain exterior walls of other buildings).

Also you need enough skill level to be able to hammer a nail into a wall!

Yeah, weird, you cn build a house, fashion iron lanterns but apparently banging nails in to hang up a deer skull requires extra skills
