Farm shed

Hello a question, my barn making fertilizer to use on my field, and they put it in resource storage building, but my question is can i make it transfer some how to my farming shed for my farmers as they dont go and collect it from the resource storage building, do i need to run my self back and forward as the fertilizer is very heavy and my farming shed cant have more then 150kg in it, is it anyway to have bigger storage in them or can i make a building and apply a worker to deliver stuff to my farming shed?

Your farmers collect it from the resource storage as well, so there is no need to transport it to your farm shed.

Yes and yes. Just make sure you put it in the right storage (resource storage building or food storage building).
For each item it shows in the description (either in your inventory or in the knowledge tab) what storage building it should be in:

How it works is like this:

A worker will first look in the chest of his work building for both the tools and the materials he needs. If they are not there, he'll take them from the resource storage building (or food storage building in case of food items).
The other way around; when he produces items, he'll put them in the resource storage building (or food storage building) first. And only when that is full, will he put them in the chest of his work building.

Because of that, your whole village can be completely automated, where some workers will make tools, that other workers use automatically for producing other things, and some workers will use to collect the materials needed for the first group to make the tools in the first place :-)

FYI - If you are using your barn to convert rot to fertilizer then keep your rot in the food storage. I had it in the resource storage and kept getting a "no resource" notice for the rot until I moved it to food storage. I hadn't noticed it specifying a storage for it and putting rot in with the food seemed wrong so I assumed, don't be a me.

When storing anything, in any storage. If you click an item in your bag while a store box is open ("E") The product will highlight green or red. on the info screen near the bottom left.

As Morri told me and shared the photo link i understand more about it, that saved me alot of walking time =)

every resource have info where it should go to work properly,your villagers will take those resourcess from such places automatically.

Hello gamer, of note, I personally keep seeds, bags, hoes and sythes in the shed to help with weight in the storage. The workers will start in the shed before the go to storage .. this is also true for all workers .. happy gaming :))

i did build a few more resource storage and now i can have 9k storage
