The could be a nice Roleplay-Game, especially for Streamers.
So, is there now a dedicated server release or does one player have to be the host when playing coop?
One player has to host and invite others to join with a code. There are no plans for dedicated servers.
To be able to set up a game server on a dedicated system, sitting in a data center which is always online and running so friends can play, when the host can't.
Dedicated server lets the game run 24/7 so the players can join and play anytime they want and do not have to wait for the host to be online to play.
Co op one player is the host using thier PC and when they stop playing no one can play.
The dedicated server game would pause when no one is online.
