Chickens and fences
What fences can hold chickens enclosed? I keep losing my tiny chicks everywhere, but the stick fence seems inadequate. Is the wattle fence good enough?

I never tried with a stick fence for my chickens, and always use the wattle one. My chickens have never escaped so far.

Out of curiosity, I'll try a stick fence... they should be walking out, but you never know, the game might register it as solid XD

Well, if you use the smallest, lowest one for your horses, they in theory should be able to step over it easily too, yet they never do. So my guess is a stick fence will keep your chickens in just ifne. xD

I have a stick fence around my chicken coop and they never walk out. You need to make sure that the fence is really closed and that you have only one gate.

Thank you! I thought that might be the case, and the game would see it as a solid too!

All fences should hold them as long as they fully enclose the area you want to contain them in.

Might want to wait a little bit. The devs just dropped a small update on the public stage adding 3 new small fences!
