Lo de los cuchillos es para cuando comienzas, si ya tienes 3 años no deberías estar vendiendo cuchillos.
A estas alturas deberías ya haber desbloqueado otros edificios como el taller para fabricar artículos más caros.

Como en todo en este juego debes grindear bastante ir poco a poco y también las recetas para fabricar artículos cuestan dinero, de unos 50 a 100 monedas en el menú de tecnología (tecla "t"), considéralo una inversión.

También hay muchos videos donde hay unos 4 o 5 recomendaciones de buenos lugares donde hacer tu base o villa; si lo que quieres es hacer dinero es recomendable te asientes en los lugares que quedan cerca de varias villas, o se te va dificultar ir y venir lejos para comerciar.

Piastovia can get you 18k per season if you dry out the merchants, but market stalls can get you ~1.5k per day, every day.

Honey is great to pair with them since they go well on a 1:1 ratio (assuming you empty hives manually as well), stockpiling in the fast seasons and eating said stockpile during the slow seasons.

Watching video's always helps, but beware that many changes have made regularly on the sale value to balance things out. Make sure you grab recent ones so you don't end up crafting stuff that's not useful anymore.
