Bug, Deutsch, Neuer charkter nach Spielstand laden

Hey Leute, nach unzähligen spielstunden ist mein Charme auf allen savgames resettet. Wtf! Gibt's einen Möglichkeit das wieder rückgängig zu machen, oder muss ich jetzt als neu machen. Motivation ist gerade gleich Null. Problem gelöst! Ich musste das Spiel normal starten, nicht über die Taskleiste, so werden die Daten irgendwie mit Steam verbunden / abgeglichen und alles läuft Normal.

Are you saying that only one of your skills reset? Haven't heard of that happening before.

You are now on version 2.0.0.7? That shouldn't be the case. Both the live version and the beta (test) version are on 2.0.0.9 right now. Could you recheck on the main menu what version you are playing please?

I'm now using the version 2.0.0.9....but last save (11.January) was on the version 2.0.0.7.....Thank you for your help.

Are you using the beta version 2.0.0.9 or the public version 2.0.0.9?

Could you also try loading your save-game as "co-op" instead of "solo" and let me know if your character is back then?

I'm using the public version 2.0.0.9? Loading in "co-op" doesn't work.... Loading time is 15 minutes and still being processed

That seems familiar. Can you try completely uninstalling the game from Steam and re-installing it, and try if you can load your savegame then?

same here, did a complete reinstall AND a completely new savegame from the start. the first time i logged off, the fields, houses and stuff were there, my character was again Lv 0. issue came on the 16th january. last time played was on the 14th really early, likely b4 the update. version is 0.9

edit: got it to work 1 time with starting in coop. my char was there with its skills & items. tried again (to see if new work is saved) now its stuck in infinite loading screen with coop. SP still creates new character. MP gets stuck. hope that helps with generell troubleshooting and my game. thanks!

The exe is not corrupt. But for co-op the game needs Steam information, both to run properly and to match your Steam ID to your character in the save file. So yes, always start the game the proper way through Steam.

thanks a lot Morri for clearing that up! :) just my thoughts as a non professional to that topic (corrupt)
just by one small detail, i didn't try to play coop until the game didn't start properly.
hope this helps.
can you highlight the correct way to start so everyone sees it right from the beginning, and dont looses his 50 hr village? would be lovely! :)
