But basically you need to use the dye on the little dye-slots next to the clothing slots next to your character model. You are not actually dying the specific item of clothing, instead you are putting the colour filter on all clothes you put in the slot that you dyed.
Lovin it!!!
Is that Finnish (but not the end)?
Look at the character model: https://imgur.com/a/x0fwM4k
You can place one dye in the little circles. Some clothes can't be dyed at all, some can only take one colour, others can take 2 colours, one for each half.
Keep in mind that you don't actually dye the clothes, you put the dye in the clothing slot, and from then on everything you equip there will have that colour when you wear it.
If you drop the piece of clothing on the floor, it will look normal and won't have any colour.
