LETS JOIN TOGETHER FOR HILLSIDE BUILDING!
i stupidly built my town next to a mountain thinking i could just build a cool road up the mountain to my house (kings house) but sadly rarely any buildings will sit on the hill. i think it would be nice if the devs gave us a better build mode for uneven grounds.

they do have a bit of leeway. mountains can be pretty steep though but also there are a lot of times limestone deposits on them that you can never build on.

The Devs did give us better build modes for uneven ground. You may not have been playing long enough to know. I do however agree it would be nice if there were a way to terraform so we could flatten areas for buildings and farms but I really don't think that will ever be an option. From what I understand this game engine does not allow terraforming.

Yeah, correct. Terraforming will not happen.

yeah, I remember even the slightest change in height and curves caused a house to be absolutely unbuildable. I would really like more freedom on where my buildings can be though, because it's frustrating to try and build a village in the mountains. I spent hours trying to place just one house next to a mine and barely managed to place a simple small house. I got so frustrated that I ended up cursing out loud.
