Limit on 'Strange Coin'?

Just did the 'Invisible Friend'-Quest and already got a few 'Strange Coins' from my son.
Is there a limit, timed or by numbers, on how many new coins I can get from him?
So I can collect enough of them for decoration, before I can't get new ones, anymore.

your son, will loose respect for you every time you loose a coin. he see's it as you dont love and care for him, you want to take his personal gift to YOU and all YOU want is to turn it a trophy a decoration. smh, poor kid.

I really don't want to miss the opportunity to have some on stock for decorating.
But at the same time, I don't want to take all the coins from my son, if there's a limit by numbers.
