Barn doesn't recognise storage?
To the North East of Piastovia there is a Triangle shape in the road.
That is where i am currently.
On the top of the triangle is my barn, on the bottom of that triangle the storage, so its a rock throws distance.

Why is it, that it does not let me use the items from my Storage?
It doesn't recognise them, is it a radius issue or is there something im missing?

My other buildings seem to do fine

Correct. The storages indeed share their inventory, no matter where they are located, so you can just build extra storage buildings.

You can also use that as well for example to build a storage next to a mine, so you just put all the ore you mine in the storage there, and can pull it from the storage in your village without the need to transport all the heavy ore around the map.

There is a radius. It only automatically takes items from storage if it's close enough.
It's a very recent addition from last week: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1129580/eventcomments/600768831220164844/ Before that you could only craft something if you had the items in your personal inventory.

"Remote Storages - A player can use resources from remote storages when crafting/building while within their range. The maximum range increases with the level of the storage. This also works for a chest in the building where the player is crafting."
But I can't really find what the exact range is.

Otherwise, im stuck with a very tiny cropped up village.

It mentions the higher it goes the more radius.
A cool addition could be a light green circle to toggle on and off, so you know you're not wasting alot of resources on a building thats not gonna be nice to use anymore in comparison to if you knew.

And im guessing the shared storage thing will create a toggle from storage 1 to storage 2 that then links Storage 1 to my barn, through storage 2.
ill try that later

There are two new icons in the bottom right of the HUD near the tools. One is of a house which disappears when you enter your home (not sure what it's actually for though). The second is the remote storage which appears when you are within range for remote storage. It seems to have around a 100m range at level 3.

So both those icons are the food and resource remote storage. Makes sense now. They have about a 100m range at level 3.

LOL I looked at that yesterday and wondered what the hell those 2 building icons were for. It's a pretty big radius if your village isn't too spread out for level 3 anyway. Thanks for the tip.
