A traffic issue
I know there's been some topics on the weird travel behaviour of NPCs. Especially where they use the original roads only. But this is kinda weird:

As you can see, the farmers live pretty much on their workspot. I started with the fields, with the barn in the middle, then placed the houses as nearby as possible, connecting the two with roads. The walking distance is about 75 metres.

But instead...
they first cross the river (which is further than their destination) to the nearest road, which is the one leading from Tutki. Then, they follow the roads to (almost) Rolnica), pass through the entire town I built, and then -passing their own homes- walk to work.

This makes zero sense.

I've alread added a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of fences (which look like crap, ruining the atmosphere, but they insist on following the road...even walking around the fence, across the farmlands, to get to the road....

Sorry....too late, I'm afraid... I've already fenced them in...

In my defence... I am a natural blonde. I just realized you could just remove the fences (the ones at the side of the river. Also remove on bit of the palisade, to see the wife walk from the island towards Tutki, before following the roads to her place of work.
