Is there any way i can tweak the in-game temperatures? Make the death actually punish the player? Asking for more customization options..
Id love to be able to customize the game even more than whats currently possible. Eg, i think, the most important thing is that the temperature system while the mechanics are okay, it is lacking due to the actual temp's being very mild.

How is that in my first winter i can survive with starting clothes? I thought maybe the following years winter will be harsher or something, but that wasnt the case, single point into the temp perk, and youre done forever, whats the point of the better and warmer clothes?

It can't be hard to simply adjust the min/max temeperatures during the given season. Perhaps its somewhere in the game files? the saved game file?
The penalties for the "too hot" arent sufficient enough as well i think, but thats secondary..

About the death, currently its just a clever way to teleport you back to home. Make it at least cost part of the money youre currently carrying. Or something like that, can i edit it atm?

Can we have more hostiles? Crops not giving 45234234 seeds from each harvest?

Is there any way i can adjust such stuff? Cheat engine perhaps?

Offtopic: id love to be able to remove the building overlapping limitation. I mean after all, its my own gameplay (or my own with my bro), why cant i have buildings closer to each other, so i can make the vilage prettier?

I feel that.

Please don't use any save editor or cheat engine on your savefiles. It causes side effects and problems in the long run.
If you do decide to use it, and experience bugs later on, make sure to mention you used a cheat engine (and which one) in your bug report, so the devs don't spend time looking for bugs outside of their control.

I feel you about wanting the game to be harsher though.
There's no way to adjust the min/max temperatures, but you will find that after the first few years, it'll become harsher and it also fluctuates from day to day.
We had people complaining they are cold despite being very well dressed, so the starting clothes will definitely not stay enough, not even together with the skill point in the temperature skill.

I do little things to make my gameplay harsher. Like for example, if I die, I fine myself (to pay for the treatment) a certain amount depending on my village development state + if the death was caused by animals, I discard all the food I had on me, and all the money I had on me if the death was caused by bandits.
To discard something, you can drop it in any of the random barrels/chests/sacks on the map. When they despawn, your stuff will disappear as well.

If you want to have a look at some other ideas, you can find some in https://steamcommunity.com/app/1129580/discussions/0/4521135947677450613/#c4521136185569298778
Thank you for the input, but self imposed limitations arent my thing really, plus im playing online so..

But you mentioned cheat engine, does it really work as in, i can change variables i mentioned in my original post?

I don't know of any that do the things you want, but the one I do know off messes up your savegame and causes bugs.

Also, please don't try to get help about cheat engines or save editors on the forum, as we are actively trying to discourage people from using them.

I wouldnt, if i could customize the game :P
There's no ROI in catering to one dude/dudette that wants hard core survival in what is obviously not that game. Use your imagination. Make your own rules. Or go play a hard core game to get that itch scratched and play this one for what it gives though from the sounds of it, that's not enough either...
