Bandit camp map

I got this map on season change, I looked at the map and I had three locations it could refer to, anyway It was my third choice. I dispatched about 5 bandits, ... is that it, did I do the job, no acknowledgement , I looted and got a few coin, the coin didnt even cover the fast travel.

Is oxbow safer now, or did I miss some of the quest. TBH after receiving an arrow to my arm, I was glad to get out of there.
