Light source brightness intensity?
Apparently a single hand lantern is brighter than two built-in building lanterns?

Would've been nice if the dev could turn up all the light source intensity including the building one brighter. My village looks too dark even with enough street lantern placed :/

Have a look at the pinned topic, 3rd paragraph if this workaround can help you: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1129580/discussions/0/4027970580223615280/

Thank you for your feedback, I must have missed that out, silly me.
It does lighten up a bit, but still no brighter than a hand lantern. tried changing the value but won't get any brighter than that.

Still, I wish the devs would lighten up all the light source for building :)

Hello '*Morri*' ,

Thank you for the Tip!

But could you please post a short video, or a detailed Step-by-Step Instruction.!?

I found the 'Engine.ini' file, but none of the script currently in that file looks similar to what I am about to add.

Good Luck & Regards

Here is the instruction
... But you can go to the games engine.ini & add the following at the end of its content to increase the draw distance:

[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.LightMaxDrawDistanceScale=10
r.MinScreenRadiusForLights=0.01

I use Notepad++ to open the file and copy and paste those three lines. Save. Set the file to read only. Done.

Hello 'pdoan8' ,

Thank You & WOW!!

I ended up using 'simeon' suggested Ultra Settings (link below), and again WOW!!

For me, increasing the Grass Density increases the perceived fertility/richness of the land. Where in the Default setting makes most of Oxbow look like Scrub Land.

I'm running an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with an OLED display, and I am able to max-out Grass Density with no problem.

There use to be a tropical island game that allowed you to adjust Foliage Density and Grass Density in the game Settings menu, perhaps Medieval Dynasty should consider adding similar settings.!?

Being able to adjust Tree Density would also be a great Setting..
