Will the NPCs be able to buy the highest grade gear when selling for revenue genereation?
I saw a thread here or on reddit , can't remember or find it again, and someone was saying the NPCs wouldn't buy a lot of the end game armor, etc because either they didn't have enough money to cover it in thier bank, or they just wouldn't 'cuz it was bugged or something. Does anyone know if this was, in fact, and actual problem and if so, how to fix it, or was the person just missing something and THOUGHT they wouldn't buy them?

Mostly no but also sorta yes.

Mostly no.

The most Coin a vendor will have is just over 2k Coin. At Barter skill 3, anything with a base value greater than about 2500 can only be sold through a Market Stall.

Sorta yes.

If you buy 4k worth of stuff from that vendor, you can then sell them Elite Armour.

The NPC vendors don't carry more cash now than they ever did which means you can't really sell them the most expensive items. It's not a won't but a shortage of cash. You can buy items from them to sell them if you get stuck with high priced stuff. I know I learned the hard way but it makes sense. These are little low level villages so you just sell them what you have always successfully sold them in the past.

tl,dr - Not a bug, not an oversight. It would be silly to have the vendors suddenly carry wads of cash. Personally I think it was a good call on the devs part. Folks would just make too much money too fast then whine and complain about having all that cash and nothing to spend it on.

Get caught out after making a bunch of high dollar stuff, suffer like the rest of us who didn't pay attention, just saw the dollar (pick your currency here) signs. The only problem is thinking in first world 21st century terms. LOL

Market stall waste of time for those items. ymmv.

Crafting those items ... for Market stall waste of time for those items.

FTFY

The Market Stall is an EXCELLENT way to move stolen, looted, and damaged goods!

Ahhh, good to know. I've been wondering if there was just no way to offload the things I just "found" in my backpack after a trip to town. :cool_seagull:

You have to buy a lot of stuff from the vendor first so they will have enough coins to buy your expensive items.

You can sell items stolen in a village at any other village, you just can't sell them at the same village that you stole them from.

OH, I didn't know you could do that either, thanks !

I wasn't talking about stolen items, only the high dollar ones. Sorry you got wrong impression.

Are you saying the Market Stall is a waste of time for high dollar items? Because that's exactly what it's good for, since it can move items of infinite value.

I know you never mentioned stolen, looted, or damaged goods. That wasn't a response at you -- just something noteworthy I added at the end there. Sorry you got the wrong impression. ;)
