Mother Knows Best quest glitched

During the quest Mother Knows Best, the little girl (Danusia) locked up near the end of the quest. After giving the bandit a health potion, the game instructed me to follow Danusia back to her mother. While I was following her, the season changed and I teleported back to my home. Upon returning to Danusia, she continued running back to her mother's campsite. When she arrived, she stopped moving, but the quest step didn't check off. Now she just stands there and the quest says "Follow Danusia back to her family".

Any way to solve this? Or is this quest just locked forever?

Have you tried saving and reloading the game? I don't have this quest, but during the conversation, one of the villagers left and the dialogue got stuck... saving and loading started the dialogue from the beginning, but this time no one left and everything ended as it should. Maybe Danusya will fix it. In one game, she first ran to her mother across the bridge, but then halfway through the game, she turned back to the river and walked not across the bridge like the first time, but across the river several times. I thought she just wanted to wash herself, although maybe it was a glitch. Or talk to other characters - the mother, the boy, the kidnapper...

I was stuck on a quest with Derwin and something similar happened. Having steam verify the files worked for me.

I wish I knew the outcome of this quest. I think I did the right thing at the end, but they all disappeared afterwards (I went back to check). I was rather hoping I could invite them to my village.

I was going to but they're going to some Lord's place to marry off the girl.
