Strange warning icon

[Dr Philosophiae]

what does this ICON mean? In the upper left corner (warning icon) : it's like hammer and anvil and paper ?

it tells you that there is an or several issues with the production that you have set up. This could me missing materials, animals or workers, for example.

I have all ok and this icon still ther with "5". No problems in any production. What this mean?

It may be off season for plant gathering.

The production icon does not show for the “invalid season” message. ;)

So there must be something else.

These icons do only appear during work hours, and if a villager is assigned to the production building with an issue (if I remember correctly).

Hey Goldi. I've experienced this a few times myself where I can't find the trigger. I'll go through every production building and everybody has all their tools and supplies. I've also had times when the icon appears stays around for maybe 15-30 real life seconds, then just disappears. Have others reported similar experience? If not, I can try and see if the icon "sticks" in a save file.

In game, that info should pop up when you press tab or some other key.

If you have production set in a building but no worker that will also give the icon. A temporary icon may just mean a short term lack of a resource that then becomes available again.

It also shows if there are no assignments to a building. So if I have an extra smithy someplace (like at a mine for me to use) without a worker, it shows up. An option to turn notifications on/off individually would be a welcomed addition for those situations.

But does the icon not show up, if there is no production set in the building no matter with or without a villager assigned, or will it inform you about the missing assignment or about the not set production?

Ich habe mehrere Gebäude in meinem Dorf in denen niemand arbeitet. Da wird mir kein Icon oben links in der Ecke angezeigt.

Bei mir erscheint das Icon nur, wenn ich in meinen Gebäuden eine Produktion eingestellt habe, aber niemand dort eingestellt ist der diese Arbeit ausführen kann.

Es wird mir natürlich auch angezeigt wenn Arbeiter eingestellt sind die etwas herstellen sollen, aber Material Werkzeug und dergleichen fehlen.

Und dann wird es angezeigt wenn ich Jungtiere z.B. Hühner oder Ferkelchen im Stall habe die noch nichts produzieren da sie zu jung sind, ich aber dennoch schon eingestellt habe was sie einmal produzieren sollen (Eier, Dung)

Ich finde es eine so geniale Einrichtung da ich immer auf dem Laufenden gehalten werde wenn mal was nicht vorhanden ist, es irgendeinen Mangel oder eine Störung gibt.

Kurzer Blick in die Verwaltung, Gebäude aufrufen und schon kann ich sehen wo und an was es fehlt.

Any building you have no production set for shows the no tasks set red icon next to the building in the buildings tab of management.

But I meant, does the icon “production issue” then do show up on the HUD too, because no production is set but a worker is assigned?
