crafting figurines?

Can we craft wooden figurines and toys, or can we only buy them from vendors?

We can't craft them ourselves; only buy from vendors. A few of the wooden figurines can be found on the map though, as a form of easter egg.

haven't seen any vendors selling figurines. Has anyone mapped out where the easter eggs for figurines are?

Sambor sells them after you do his side quest.

The vendor for figurines is Sambor but only after you complete the quest he gives you when you approach him with in your inventory one of the figurines in that you found in the clay pits behind his house, Don't worry though, if you messed this up and sold all the figurines before ever talking to him you'll still get a vendor once Sambor dies of old age.

As for the easter egg figurines, I only found them once:

I'm not sure if they are always at the same location or if they are random. But I do know there are more around.

I think they are a random spawn, with spawn chance each season, cause I've been to this spot before a lot (scavenging the river sides every season for barrels or sacks) and never noticed these before.

Ok, scratch that, it seems it's not random. I went back to an earlier save in a different season, and even a completely different playthrough and they were at the same spot every time. I guess I just never noticed them before.
