Anyways, for example; saveeditonline.com lets you edit savegames for Unreal Engine games.
In the future, perhaps they will allow it more easily from within the game. Its still early days.
This I did not know. Good tip!
Then its easy from within the game, without editing savegames.
But I understand you dislike this “feature” since you cannot have different settings in different savegames right now then. Ah well, all in good time.
I could not get this to work. I have two old games, started in v0.1.2.4 and v0.2.0.2, that use the default settings. I started a new game with v0.2.0.3 (now in year 7) with unlimited stamina and carrying weight. I loaded saves from the old games and they still had limits on both.
Does this only work if I start a new game in v0.3.0.0 with changed settings, and then load the old saves?
I'm pretty sure that this is wrong.
Changed settings affect only the game you're just about to start.
Previous saved games are not affected and if you start another game you need to change these settings again.
The reason is simple:
Daiska is wrong with that.
Customized settings only affect the actual game.
i see what you mean by technical lol. i managed to change the needs and seems to have worked. thanks :)
How did u manage to do it??, I've been looking for something that can read CSAV Files but had no success, so in other words I cant find anything that can read the file so I can change the options :(
