Furniture in houses?
How do you place it? I tried to put log seats down and they bury into the foundation.

You can't put furniture inside the houses.
You have to build your own from baskets, planks....

You can build your own furniture out of dropped items like planks and baskets. If you see screenshots showing real furniture inside of buildings, than they are old. There was a bug, once. If I remember right, it was still in Early-Access.

The bug was.. that you could put furniture in your house..?

The furniture creates collision with the npc, that's why they remove it and add decoration on the walls to clear the path of the occupants.

I still wonder, if furniture for the fur-slots could be a solution to that pathing-problem....

Looking for how to place chairs I spent thousands of gold to unlock and found this thread. Trying to place them they go through the floor and only rugs can be placed with the decorate slot? Pretty gd stupid to have chairs to spend to unlock and resources to craft and all you can do is put them outside/ Is this a joke?

I was also disappointed when I found out. But it's not really that important as you don't normally spend time there.

That is correct. Npc pathing seems to be the most prevalent reason for it, but i believe when the game took place (11th Century Bohemia/Poland), peasants didn't have much furniture in house anyway. Most of their life was spent outside the house or in communal buildings, and the house was mostly just for sleeping. I could be wrong though, something like a makeshift table and chairs wouldn't be too far fetched i think.
I would like to be able to put a few simple items inside as well; but i've seen people make the most gorgeous things with some planks and baskets.

That is the dumbest f***ing reason to remove something. Fix it instead of just removing an entire feature of the game. Like WTF, that is just out right lazy. The place feels so baren now and houses feels so damn empty.

Sometimes things cannot be done due to technical reasons. Don't call someone lazy when you don't know the ins and outs of something.
Completely lazy 100%, I've had this game since early access and it showed promise. I've come back recently to actually get some value out of the game and found they've changed so much because of "technical issues". The more accurate reading was because coding takes work and they didn't want to put the work in, simple as. Gone from harvesting real nodes to working on workbenches because pathfinding too difficult, bless.
