Where do I get my first fertilizer?

I found manure, but I don't have a barn yet, and I'd like to start farming on the field, so where can I get fertilizer?

Ask any npc "Where can I find", from the list, look for vendors / farming / farmer. then go to the nearest village that npc recommend and look for the vendor who normally is in the barn.

The vendors have an icon above them in the compass.

If you have a barn, buy manure which is cheaper and make your own fertiliser.

You can buy Fertilizer

You can make fertilizer from rot or manure but you need a barn.

Btw; Just ploughing your field (before the fertilizing) should give you enough technology points very quickly to be able to build a barn.
