Hops

I have had several hop plants for a few years now but I have yet to see any in my storage buildings. I have looked in the barn's assignment selection area but I don't see a selection for hops. I have yet to build a tavern (not enough points), could this be why? If not, what am I missing?

Hops are harvested in Autumn, and will be stored in the normal storage like weat

The hops are usually harvested by employees from the field shed. They should then appear in the food warehouse. If they are not harvested in the fall, they are spoiled for the year.

Do you have people assigned to the shed? They will pick the fruit and hops automatically when in season if they have them.
It's possible that you have too few people to manage all the field work AND picking the hops as well. You need to keep an eye on that next autumn.

Hops are the only 'orchard crop' that is stored in the Resource Storage along with other grains, so all the 'brewing stores' for the Tavern can be found in the same place

I think Morri is correct, I only have one worker in the farm shed and there may be too much farming for one person. I will introduce another worker and see what happens.

Take also into account that they start working the fields and orchard closest to their shed first. And if your orchard is too far away, they might never get around to it.

It's probably safer (and faster) to maybe do it yourself. That and if you have the orchard perk you will get more. Workers don't.
