Summer heat
This is honestly probably just a personal ick of mine, but the constant whining about being too hot is driving me nuts.

I have a self-impossed rule where I'm not allowed to buy anything that I can craft (even if I haven't unlocked it yet). I can only buy animals, tree seedlings and a limited amount of seeds. Unfortunately, it means that many summers will pass until I have the ability to get the best summer clothes. I was lucky enough to find winter clothes in loot, so winter is not a problem. Also, even if I didn't, torches and potions of temperature seem to work well enough.

But summer is unbearable. I play on 5-day seasons and I tend to have at least two extreme weather days per summer. So hot that the best summer clothes I own plus a potion of temperature do nothing. Granted, I didn't put any points into the skill, so that one is definitely on me, but at the point in the game where I learned the temp has been changed since I last played, I didn't have points to drop in the skill and it's gonna be a while before I get another one.

I can deal with the increased thirst. In fact, I wouldn't even mind if that was made worse than it is. Maybe also some stamina penalty or something. But having to listen to the whining every two seconds was absolutely unbearable. So I resorted to turning temperature off for summers.

Now, obviously, this is my own problem with my playstyle (the same way I can't have mounts until I unlock a fold, because the saddle needs wool). But also, the heat meter was so high on certain days, I can't even imagine that slightly better clothes would fix it. And if I had to listen to my character complain about it one more time, I'd punch through a wall.

I was mostly wondering what is everyone's experience with summers in the game. If you have points in the skill, does that help? Is the best clothes + potion enough even without the skill?

I take a dip in the river every so often, taking clothe off does not help, I get the most cooling clothe I can find. She does not whine too much. Winter is easier.

I definitely don't take clothes off. I know that just makes the tolerance worse unless you're wearing winter clothes. River only helps if you're in it and as much as I like fishing, I don't want to do it all day long 😄.

I guess I'll have to wait for the better clothes. I think I'm only missing the tunic though. I guess we'll see when I get it.

Dont forget there is also food that boosts temperature resistance

Temperature skills plus flat straw hut should stop the whining if it´s below 40 degrees. In fact that "I´m boiling.." drives me crazy too.
There is a potion to reset your skills. Maybe you can find one.

On the first day of summer a village woman inside her house was whining about the heat. It was 19°C inside, 18°C outside, early in the morning on day 1 of summer.
I know, women normally have a subjective feeling of it being "too cold" compared to men, not the other way around. And no, that woman was not 43 or whatnot, she was 22.

I want that potion anyway because I screwed up with Diplomacy points, but I haven't found it in merchant inventory, so even if broke my rule about not buying stuff, I would still have to wait for enough tech. I'm about to hit that actually, so I might try the skill.

I'll give those a try, thank you. I'll check out the stats on the food that is availible to me now, although I still only have kitchen I, so it's probably nothing strong.

I found the reset-potion somewhere but I am not sure where it was.

Women often got a heat degree celsius , bcz of their menstrual . We, girls, get hot , of the hormonal cycle and menstrual. it's a thing , since the begin of the nature,
yes, animals got that too. it's just that humans don't even have a clue or anithing else about it, since they all live with this , every years
