The valley or Oxbow?

Hi guys, a question. Is the normal campaign better or the other mode? What changes between the 2? Which is more beautiful and rewarding in terms of story missions etc? Is the other mode a simple sandbox or what?

it is a complete new campaign with different quests etc. pp. Can't really say I prefer one over the other, I started an oxbow run to experience "a new game" when it was released.

That thread needs to be thoroughly updated. It is from Jan 14th of 2023. It says things like no heralds and King's quests in the Oxbow.

It is up to date. I have made edits mentioning when they were added, whenever something was added or changed.

I asked a similar question once, wasn't really confused on why Oxbow would be the better choice if you weren't going to be playing multiplayer anyway. I mean, the Valley is bigger and has more towns.

But....

for a change, I went to a stroll on the Oxbow map two days ago. Should not have done that, as I ended up strolling for more than 10 hours (so far). It's an absolutely gorgeous map.

yes I too now try oxbow. The problem is that I don't know where to start to make my first house
