Copper from shed?
Hi,

I built an excavation shed at a mine and added 2 villagers with skill 3. I also increased the skill that makes villagers work 5% faster. (1/3) The daily income of copper is 2.2. Can that be correct? That's really absolutely nothing...it's not worth "wasting" two villagers here...

As practice shows, this building is suitable only for the extraction of straw, clay and limestone. And it's easier to collect minerals yourself by running around all the mines on the map during the season

yes but it did not used to be so bad. It used to be a fair amount better than just two ore per day. Before the update on November 27 you could get a decent amount of copper ore from it. Enough to satisfy the copper needs for production of axes, and hammers in the smithy by your other villagers.

It got now tweaked again.
Check the patch notes of the new patch at the open beta/test branch.

for me the copper is to just give the sheds a todo thing for lategame
to run at 100%

you will need straw : but there is a limit to how much animal feed you need (if your not selling it)

thats like 10-12% on straw

at some point everything is insolated so no good use for limestone

like early mid game your shed will be at like 30% on that but at some point
you have build all you currently can or want

so the big thing lategame is clay for bottles but 1 shed can pump out a TON of clay

so i just get as much of the stuff i DO need and have them gather bits of copper

so every now and then i buy zinc in hornica or that other town

and turn it into brass so i have some should i need it
