Where do I get linen thread

flax stalks, take to the sewing house use the sewing wheel that is where you get linen and wool thread. the wheel does thread and the thing on the back wall does fabric
wool is from shearing sheep.

In the knowledge tab ingame and then the second subtab, you'll find all items ingame neatly catergorized. Clicking on them will give you more info and a description on where to find/make it.

If you only need 1 or 2 for a bow, you can buy it from seastress if you don't have the weaver yourself yet.

It does take a good while to get up the 100 production tech to unlock the weaving building. Highly recommended to gather sticks and stones all over the environment and craft them into stone tools—you can sell them for a small amount of money and also grind up that production tech.
