fireplace disapointment

In the update we lost our cauldron/cooking pot( check out https://steamcommunity.com/app/1129580/discussions/5/4416424268927839699/ ), and it was replaced with a simple fireplace, I thought I would customise this, to robust fire place. I thought this would improve the mood of the household, no it does not even do that. just makes the house prettier.

Does anyone know is the mood increase by home improvements still maxed at 10 points?

Yeah, it looks nicer, but no other practical use, no cauldron, no mood improvement, and TBH pain in the backside to clean, ;)

Nothing changed about how to increase the mood of your people. It can still be done by adding decorations to the house as before (capped at 10 decorations).
Changing the look of the beds, fireplace or chest doesn't count towards that and doesn't change the mood of your people.
So you are free to make them look however you like as it won't have an impact.

We can choose between at least two fireplace designs
but the cauldron got removed instead of being a 3rd option?

Sorry for asking. I could just take a look myself, but....
well... yeah... you should know... I quit playing a while ago
because the Devs removed content......

And first of all: What the hell?! 🤣
Why not making the cauldron a 4th option?
(Keeping it's functionality of course! It's not only about design-choices.)
For NPCs, it doesn't matter. They don't use houses for production, anyways.
But we do! I used to use my kitchen, too! With selfmade furniture and stuff, you know. Cooked 200 soups a season there. Feels a bit different than using the Kitchen.

But this is... well, let's just call it "not the most customer-friendly behaviour".

I have a strange feeling that we will soon get the pot back.. The devs have proved they do listen when they 'repaired' the seasonal thing. So atm just two 'little' things..
The Pot and erm dare I say the obvious (at least for me)...
Pass to heir at 18 on Oxbow..

If You had started a rebel army , like ours , CPE (cooking pots for everyone - we're still working on our name), We could of joined our forces think about it EINR people(Euthinaisa is not right people - I am assured they are still working on their name) and PNP (People need pots - we are still working on our name) We could join our rebel armies and take over both the valley and Oxbow.

I miss the cauldron as well. I was a bit shocked tbh. I hope the devs bring the cauldron back, at least as a fourth option to build the fireplace. It's the little things and details which make this game so great.
