must be online for achievements to pop ??

for some reason several achievements refuse to pop for me.. the last i tried was the "wonder how many i can stack" i actually had 13 statuses on and it wouldn't pop (tried it twice, this time around), so i exited game, went online, loaded game back up and done it again. it popped before i even closed my inventory.. so i guess i have to complete the story line yet again (done it at least twice) as well as surviving the winter without clothes and sleep in my own bed among others :/ this needs to be fixed, not everyone has access to the net at their homes.. i only have access to limited data and low bandwidth through my phone's hot spot..

Yes, you need to be online to get the achievements to register.

Tbh; while it sucks that you don't have access to the internet at home; I think you are a minority at this point. It's not every devs responsibility to cater to that.
Especially since you can still play the game offline.

they used to work offline, and most other games achievements still work offline. just makes it a waste of time for me when they won't work offline. minority or not, net's not available in my area and i know it's that way in a ton of places outside of the bigger towns and cities.

Anyway, have you got the monthly length set at default for the survive winter one ? I tried it one year and didn't get the achievement because I had set the month to be shorter. The first time I tried it I also had my backpack and pouch on, so I didn't wear those for the second attempt either. Someone else may know if they are classed as attire for that achievement.

And the status one you have to also drop some poison down your neck lol that triggered it for me, before that I was scratching my head cos I'd drunk all the known effect potions.

first time i tried it at 1 day seasons then i went to default. with the status one i had 13 status on me including poison and drunk didn't work until i done it again online.
