Crashing since update

I've been crashing, seemingly, at random since the patch. I play in mostly third person view. One time I was about to open my food storage crate and it crashed. One time I was looking around in hunter view looking for prey and it crashed. There's been a few other times but it's just while playing the game.

The latest patch last week has caused constant fatal errors for some people.

Try verifying the game in Steam:
right click Medieval Dynasty in the list of games in your Steam library, pick 'installed files' and then 'verify integrity of game files'

If you still have issues after that; try changing the ingame graphic settings to:
- windowed fullscreen mode
- DirectX 11
- limit frame rate to 60

This helped for some people, but not all, so if this doesn't work for you, nothing to do but await a fix i'm afraid. The devs are working on it.

Since the update the game keeps crashing when i am on the Oxbow map can you tell why?

I got a out of video memory error every time i tried to load my saved game. Everything was fine before the update, i can play on high setting but now i cant even load it. I lower the graphic, switch to Directx 11 and limit frame rate to 60fps but it is still the same. Im using a RTX970 btw.

Can you upload your savegame so we can test if we can load it?

You can find your savegame in %LocalAppData%\Medieval_Dynasty\Saved\SaveGames.
To upload it, just use a site like wetransfer.com to create a link for you that you can paste here (no need to make an account on wetransfer, just click the 'i just want to send files' link.)

I have no trouble loading your save; so at least we know now the save isn't corrupt.

Can you check if your graphics card has new drivers and update if necessary.
If that doesn't fix it; try uninstalling the game from Steam and re-installing it.
Also check your antivirus/firewall that it isn't blocking anything from the game.

Let us know if you still have an issue after that.

I tried everything from updating newest driver, reinstalling the game several times, verify integrity of the game and making sure antivirus is not blocking. I still can't get it load or start a new game.

Out of video memory does sound like there's something wrong with your PC.
Could you try running DISM and Sfc/scannow to fix any errors in your windows installation ( https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image )?

Thanks for your help, Morri , i appreciated it a lot. I managed to get the game running. I followed this solution by modifying the virtual memory. Now everything runs smoothly even on high graphic.

With the new public test patch they fixed the problem, i did play for like 2 hours yesterday without problems. Before that i wasn't able to play, like crashing every 5 min of gameplay.
