Difficulty getting to sleep in a house
Since the last update, I have difficulties getting to sleep in a bed - clicking 'E' for sleep is no problem, but when you go to click on the 'Sleep day' icon it never seems to work first time (in fact it can take up to 5 or 6 goes before you manage to go to sleep

Sleeping at campfires works perfectly - no problems. I don't know if it's anything to do with the bed customisation change - I've tried on both customised and non-customised beds; it takes several tries on both

Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you fix it ... apart from sleeping at campfires each night

Could you try the following:

- verify the game files to make sure nothing is corrupt: right click Medieval Dynasty in the list of games in your Steam library, pick 'installed files' and then 'verify integrity of game files'

- Other than that; check that your antivirus/firewall didn't start blocking files from the game, or the mouse.

Let us know if you still have an issue after that.

I randomly have this issue and sometimes you can click on a different bed in the house and it will work. I am playing in the valley and seems like the longer I play the less it happens. Also noticed if I do something else then come back it will work (as if it was too early to sleep but just didn't show that notice).

Are you guys sure you are pressing the E button only once (and short) when interacting with the bed? If you hold it pressed it won't work.

I have also noticed this occasionally since the update, I do it the same way as before the update.
Trying several times helps, putting it in a different bed also helps.

The issue is when you click on the sleep option. You click on and it will disappear like it's going to do it but never actually does. So you have to keep doing it until it decides to do it.

I do notice a small delay since the patch after clicking on the "sleep" option. It takes a little bit (like 15 seconds) while you see your character laying there, before the day actually progresses. Waiting a bit longer doesn't help either?

Nope. It's like the action got cancelled.

Thanks Morri - verifying the file integrity fixed it

U just need to stay over the bed, than it still works instant, seems the "Pathfinding" to find the bed, even if u are a half step away is somehow broken.

And i am not sure if this has also something to do with the crashes, because some parth of wayfinding could be messed up with the update which generates permanently Fatal Errors in other Situations. Would also be explain why it crashes with bandits so often.

... until it didn't. Seemed to be fixed but still happening on occasion

If I remember correctly every time it happened the wife was already in bed. I don't think this a coincidence.

Getting divorced won't help you either - I've just started a new game and I'm still single. Perhaps I'm just an insomniac and have not realised it yet

It hasn't occurred to me once since patch 2.1.0.8a (test branch).
