How to cook potage, now?
Since taking away the couldron from the house fire, is the only way to cook potage in a kitchen? or is there another way? I dont want to build a kitchen for 5 villagers, it seems like over kill to me.

Hahaha.

I'm sorry, but I personally don't mind it and actually quite like that it creates a need to build a kitchen. :-)

Not everyone can afford a kitchen, remember 'the taxes are so high', trying to remember the exact quote.

salted meat has 15% less food consumption, does that work just on the player or villagers aswell?

You should update the text in the Technology tree, it still says the houses contain a cauldron (lies)

That's a step backward from game play. Every house should be able to make pottage.

Tax depends on the number of building, and the type. Not the number of people. I could have 10k of tax for just 2 people. I could pay that same amount when I have 50 people.

Yeah but when u not wanna Build any uneccesary Building, u wouldn have any , so ur taxes with 5 peoples cannot be high, even with 1000 % Taxes (I play only with that) . Otherwise u are exactly at the point the Peoples above deny : Havin unecessary buildings and need to pay taxes for that.

I like to pre-build my village. I, once, had 80 buildings for 10 people. On the other hand, some people don't want to pay an extra coin for anything they don't have to have (like the kitchen).

I have taxes @ 1000% so I am paying =-1500 adding a kitchen would add another 400 coin

Fine, OK ..cauldron removed from houses - roger that, I'm not mad
But why does the description in the tech tree still state that "Has the Stone Campfire and the Cauldron inside" then? This is what I AM mad about.
This should be clearly communicated (I can't even find a mention in the patch notes)

People get upset over the littlest things anymore. I can't even take posts like this seriously cause I am pretty sure its just a bunch of kids.

It's simply about deleting content (again :steamdeadpan:).
And then people shouldn't get angry?
Instead of deleting something, they (again :steamdeadpan:) could have added
possibilitys to the game.

By giving us the ability to grab our hammer and edit the fireplace!

I highly doubt that anyone would be upset then.
Even if the new fireplace (Looks great, btw. Have seen it on a Screenshot)
would be the default one now. And maybe even not if you had to pay
2-3 Iron Ingots for the cauldron. (If anything else fails, you can still buy them.
Right from the start.)
Just don't lock the cauldron behind tech!
Or at least make it very cheap and available right away with the Small House.
