Achievements question

So, I'm considering to buy this game on upcoming sale to play with a friend.
We both are achievement junkies and the question is simple - are all achievements obtainable through completely co-op playthrough?
Or some aren't and will require solo run as well?

Apparantly only the host will get them. Has still yet to be fixed. I wouldn't update the game either once it's working, seeing they have a history of breaking the achievements with an update but not having a retroactive check coded in :) So you're just gonna have to restart and do them again

Not sure how you could "loose" achievements. Surely once they are registered with Steam that's it. Bugs in the game should not affect Steams record of achievements.

Atm it is indeed bugged for the client player, but this should be fixed in today's update.

Afaik; there are two achievements tied to the story of the original map, so those you will not be able to get in co-op on the co-op map.

Go for quality, not a polished turd as the saying goes. Steamsale starts later today, perhaps you'll find some good coop games to hunt chievos on

It should be fixed already. Both host and clients should be getting the achievements. A while ago already, though a few specific ones were still bugged for the client and that got fixed in version 2.1.1.2 last week. What version are you on?

to get ALL achievements.. you need to play single player.. as some achievements are tied to the storyline of the valley map.

Dead? Why would you even think that. The devs are still producing free content and expanding the game.
Achievements should be one of the last things on the list since they serve zero purpose.

What problem with achievements still needs to get fixed according to you? Achievements work fine now, both in solo as in co-op.

If you still have a problem after having checked those steps, open a thread in the bug section where you explain your issue.

As for the game being "dead", the devs are working on the next step in the roadmap, which will be released this year. You can find the roadmap in the pinned topic:
