Help with rot in Oxbow

I made a mistake and forgot to make rot after the first season and am wondering if there is somewhere I can buy or get rot before the end of the current season. It's for a side quest

You can buy rot from a vendor in the Piastovia marketplace. You can also buy manure there and turn both into fertilizer which you can buy from the same vendor.

If you buy a male and female pig you will have plenty of manure for your fertilizer needs.

It's not that hard to find out if you visit the marketplace in Plastovia. Or do you want us to draw you a map of the marketplace, too?

Hint, Rot will be the same vendor that sells food, manure will be the vendor who sells tools.

Markuslaw sells manure/fertilizer and seeds. Poznomir sells food/ingredients. They have stalls right next to eachother.

Also Zywia in Ostoya and Waclawa in Skauki have fertilizer and/or manure.

He was asking for _Rot_. None of the Vendors in Piastovia had Rot available for buying in both of my recent games - The quest was given in the first seaon and only valid for Spring time. So composters and the like will not work as the food spoils on changing seasons.

Since people are being douches about it. If you pick up the quest you will most likely not be able to buy it from anyone. I know I saw a vendor selling rot all the time but as soon as I had the quest that wasn’t available. Go to a different town to buy it or take the loss.

Composting bins are a easy way to get rot to convert to fertilizer until you can get pigs. Also, you can sometimes buy rot from cooks at kitchens or bartenders at the taverns. Sometimes you can find rot in the loot at abandoned buildings, bandit camps, or cart wrecks.

You can put food items in your compost bin to rot and that includes mushrooms. It takes a little while.
