Updated roadmap anywhere?
What’s coming to the game in 2024? Or is it pretty much fleshed out?

Thank you. Is it safe to say the devs are focused on Sengoku?

No, Render Cube (the dev studio of MD) has nothing to do with the other Dynasty games. They share the same publisher (Toplitz), that's all.

The devs atm are working on getting the co-op update to the non-Steam platforms (custom networking code for each platform). After that, updates will continue as marked on the roadmap.

As they announced in the latest patch notes on the 2nd of March:
Hello, villagers! We want to let you know that this will be the last patch for Medieval Dynasty in the near future. Now, we will be focusing all our effort on bringing The Oxbow to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and other platforms as well as creating some new surprises for you here, on Steam. Stay tuned.

Ohhh I see, thanks for explaining that.

I have no direct or indirect contact to the dev's. so Morri I need you to be a go between.
My villagers are complaining....they have there pretty clothes line that they can not use, the have pretty tanning logs they can not use. I tried to explain to them about the PS5 and xbox update and how important it is, but my villagers dont understand, One of them asked, whats a PS5? I did explain its like an abacus but better and think they understood that. So the question my villagers want to know, when will they be able to put clothes on the line and use other work stations? Mildreda was pointing out about the crests and armour and do we really need them, as here in oxbow the castillion has kept the villagers safe(OK 1 or 2 merchants/ventures get attacked, but village attacks have stopped now), and she would prefer dry panties to weapons of war. SO..to sum up as leader and ambassador of Lower Piastovia when can we expect usable work stations, or is the King once again giving false promises!

Trust me; no one would like to know more than I do. I miss the seasonal events a lot as well; just started a new playthrough on Oxbow this weekend, and was hesitant first because I wanted to wait for the seasonal events. But who knows how long that will be, so I started anyway.

They won't share that info with me without me signing an NDA, and if I did, I wouldn't be allowed to tell you anything anyway. :-)

I honestly don't understand the reason for all the secrecy about planned updates, but it is what it is I guess.

Probably because there aren't that many planned updates to come, get it to console then move on. We had a lot of fun playing this though, once you start getting more silver coins than you need, that's kind of the end of it.

What other games are similar to this? I see Senguko, but that needs another year in the oven.

Thanks for the reply, but could you not suggest to the devs ...they get me to sign the NDA and tell the plans for the future, and maybe when I am walking through the village said NDA falls out of my pocket, entitled MD future development, updates and ideas.

1)Mildreda will be able to dry her knickers on 25 june 24
2).....................

Or on a slightly more serious note, could you let the devs know they are invited to my village, and my house and they can sample my vintage wine(not any wine but cherry) and premium mead. I WILL persuade them to reveal there plans.

on a really genuine note.....I love this game
and it has already proved itself, so much potential 1 hundred ways it can go. Lets just hope the devs keep doing what they are doing.

bought the game... did the co op thing....literally nothing else to do other then watch your workers work. Like a handful of loot spots which doesnt really have much. I wish they would add alittle bit more of exploring. All the quests are pretty much the same. Talk to this person, produce thing for this person and thats it.

I understand getting coop going for consoles but there are still a lot of problems that need fixed. that fact that i need a flat surface to place a storage chest and cant expand storage to buildings like farming shacks is frustrating. i have unlock a lot of buildings and i start seeing glaring problems.

Ahh the words of someone who didn't research the game they purchased.

Out of curiousity; why do you want to expand the storage chests of buildings? Your workers can also access the resource storage building(s) for the materials and tools they need. You don't have to put anything in the chest of the work building itself.

mod support is a must if you are focusing on other things, minecraft was a big as it was due to the support of the community. is mod support coming anytime soon ?

Devs have always said they don't completely rule out mod support, but if they implement it, it will only be when they are themselves done with active development. And we still have a roadmap til the end of the year with a question mark of a surprise coming next year. So it won't be any time soon.
Also; they are not focusing on other things. They are actively implementing the co-op update for the other platforms.

lets perhaps let them finish the game without asking for mods that are really not that needed, don't like it... then go back to minecraft for a year.
