Can't get any perch from fisher?

Playing Oxbow, I have that quest to get 20 perch, but fisherman only gets that first fish, now that I have assigned 100% perch, it doesn't get any fish at all to food storage. It says something like 4,5 perch per day, but have tried few seasons now and 0 perch, tried also switch the fisherman, but no fish?

Your villagers are probably eating the fish. Have you gone to the food priority page and denied them the right to eat perch?

I have quite lots of different food there, so I would imagine they wouldn't eat them all, but that is possibility for sure, I'll go check that priority page as I didn't know there is one lol

Your villagers probably eat it instantly. Or consume it for the water content if they don't have any better sources of water.
You can forbid your villagers to eat perch by changing the 'consumable' column : https://imgur.com/a/imqrJ2M

Don't forget to forbid it both under food items AND under water items.

Hahaa YES! Thanks for both, there appears to be TWO perch at the food storage now after disabling it from both food and water consumption

With every character you want to go through the three options for food, water and wood and only turn on those things you want to use for each option. Otherwise they, like us eat the best stuff they can get their digital lips on. Makes it so much easier for figuring out food consumption too, what you can sell, what to give them to eat.

For that quest I just bought them. Never had a fisher at that point in life.
