Does the game get better/different ?
Hey there fellow Racimir !

I got the same recently and I am thoroughly enjoying it after 30 hours, i'm on my 4th year.
I've got about 25ish citizens 45 buildings.

Does the game get better or different ? At the moment I feel like there is no goal beyond the main questline.

I grow up my town, get more villagers, produce goods I sell (on top of the hundreds of stone knives) etc but it's a bit redundant.
Obviously there is the progress in buildings (getting farm animals, getting a mount, getting higher tier buildings etc) but that's not an "end game goal" if that makes sense. You can have an heir etc, but it's not "gameplay" it's just another citizen you'll play when you die.

So the question is, are there new things introduced later down the line or have I seen the vast majority the game offers ?

I'll keep enjoying the game, but it's more to have an idea on what to expect.

Thanks in advance !

You've seen it all at this point. The game is more of a sandbox simulator, so you make your own story and goal.
For me the endgoal is getting a completely self-sufficient village, where I don't have to do anything myself anymore, but I play purposely slow with extremely harsh restrictions and deliberately only a few starting people, so this will take me multiple generations to achieve.

Many players approach Medieval Dynasty little bit like The Sims. This is very good and very rewarding approach. You buld your Settlement with a vison. You build and add beautification elements to your buildings and the whole settlement. It is possible to spend hundreds of hours in this game and sill have fun and feeling of achiving something.

Like morri said.
MD is a medieval sandbox simulation combining different gameplay categories in one single experience and without an intended “ending”.
But of course it has its gameplay limits.

It seems it is intended to be played in a relaxed, sandbox & immersed way with good/funny written stories to experience in the beginning of your journey on the different maps.
It is quite forgiving and a fear of missing out is mostly not accountable or at least easy avoidable.

It can help to try to get a different understanding of time. As a season or a year in the game is not as important (regarding reaching certain goals) as it is in today’s society.
This can help to experience the dynasty part (managing yours and the villagers generations) and allowing to let time just pass by, without the need to do things as fast as possible. The game rewards already the “long-term” play style with small details and changes (f.e. more available skills with each heir generation, higher skilled villagers, new events, harsher seasons & encounters) to experience so far.

If one rushes through the game or alters the game configuration to get things faster done, one will per se reach faster the stories ending as well as the available buildings and all others available (gameplay)assets.
And if one does not set own goals to get to at a certain point, one of course has reached a kind of ending, and has seen the parts the game offered with that very play style.
No more no less. :)

If it gets “better” is quite hard to say, without knowing what better is in your perspective.
And “different” depends on the individual play style I would say.
The survival element in my game (year 29) is more subtile, like the need to change your cloth every season to adapt to the weather.
There is no money or demand problem, so I can do whatever I like to do. And if it is simply standing there and watching the (just recently found) ants. XD

Sorry, here in short:
No new things/buildings which you cant see already in the tech tree now.
