expand storage

I would like a way to expand the storage, food and general, that will add the way to build an extension or a second floor, or build boxes and thus expand its storage space.

Then you should adapt your production to demand instead of producing wildly. Otherwise, build several buildings of one type.

You can upgrade the storage buildings once you have unlocked the relevant blueprints. If you need more storage before then, you can build copies of the buildings, as Cocco suggested. They will share their inventory with others of the same type.

Build another storage building. Or you can drop stuff in the various places in the resource storage like logs. The food i would just build another food storage

I just keep throw excess logs and stone on the floor inside the storage building, it help free up space a lot. If you have way to much food compared to what your village is consuming then you produce to much or sell to little...

Building another 2-3 storage buildings add a resources chest to each you will see the amount has increased x 3 with addition of the chests in the storage building . and upgrade the buildings when you can,
You can drop your supplies in any of the chests in the storage building and it adds to all three.
If you start getting low again build a market and sell your resources,

I build storage outposts food I generally do not have issues with but same would apply there. It gives locations that you can access your storage and increases overall storage. I start with the lowest building tier so I can access the resources without having to carry or build extra buildings for the other tiers if I have them available.
