Converting walls to Stone
once stone walls are unlocked you can destroy a wall and rebuild it as stone without using daub, I ran into these issues.

These are not complaints but a heads up so people don't run into the same issues.

1. why does simple house have 6 sections of roof line costing 12 planks each and the larger house has 4?

2. on simple house you are able to build the 2 top pitched side walls in stone but on the larger house you can only build out of wood.

3. you cannot upgrade from daub to Stone, seems like this should be enabled so you don't have to make a family homeless while you try to get them into a stone house.

3. trying to move my village around and building new housing I would build a new stone house then pick the one I didn't want and destroy a wall to see who went homeless and then assign them to the new house, here is the rub.
- 2 people living in the same house cannot be reassigned together to the new house.

keep in mind all this is an issue for me at least because im at a 30 structure limit so with 29 structures built and 1 spare to build new house move people then destroy old house, when I cant move all people in a house, i end up with no more structures available and 4 person houses being used by 1 person.

Stone walls are not unlocked, you have them from the beginning of the game. There's a stone fence you unlock with building tech at 5000 points (with the mine).

Daub is basically an insulation you add onto wattle, wood, or stone - it's not an upgrade as in going from wattle to wood to stone. In other words, if you were to replace your existing wattle (or wood) walls that have been "upgraded" with daub with stone walls, you would then need to add daub again.

There's an in-game description somewhere that says we're supposed to use limestone to "upgrade" stone walls, but currently daub is used for that too.

Currently, the only way to get two people of the same sex to live in the same house is when you recruit them and they have no other place to go. When you want to use the management tab to move people around to different houses, you cannot move two people of the same sex into the same house. I don't think devs have commented about which is the bug: recruiting two people of the same sex into a single house or not being able to manually assign two people of the same sex into the same house.

Thank you for the clarification, now that adds another wrench in the system, I had to get rid of my clay extraction hut to give me the extra structure so I can get everything up to stone, now i gotta figure out what to destroy to put it back, LOL management sucks, so much easier to be in a Union and say, "That's not my job"

When I upgrade from wattle to stone, I don't upgrade the old building, but rather I build a new stone residence first and then demolish the old one. This means nobody goes homeless ;)
I suggest you maintain a buffer of 2 free building slots to allow you to do this. You do not need every animal pen, for example and when I found I was too limited, it was a no brainer to get rid of the hen coop and goose pen, but the pigs can stay... I need the manure because I have almost no rotten food ;)

This is what I was doing but ran into the issue where I couldn't move all the residents from the old house to the new one.
