Pigsty problems.
So. Building the Pigsty (not sure if this is for the other animal pens as well) on even the slightest of inclines, not even a 5 degree pitch, makes the pigs get completely stuck on the ramp blocking both the rest of the pigs from being able to get in and out but also blocking my animal breeder and myself from being able to collect the manure and refill the trough, which led to 2 of my pigs dying so far from starving?

I know it's EA but why are the DEVs focusing on nerfing the economy when the most basic of facilities doesn't even work properly?

Doesnt matter where you place the pigsty (or any other"producing building"). As long as there is someone assigned and the production slider set, the building will produce stuff. The worker doesnt have to reach the trough also. The animal feed just has to be in the Material Storage.
The manure on the floor is just extra stuff the player can collect if wanted, but dont have to.
Also, animals dont starve when not fed. They just produce nearly nothing anymore.

PS: Game is not in EA.

Impossible. Animals don't die from starvation in this game. Only of old age or if you actually kill them.
Also, as Black already indicated, your worker can fill the through automatically without physically having to enter the stable, and will never pick up the manure on the ground.

That might actually not be correct.

They attack villagers (but that doesn't matter since those cannot be harmed), but I've seen someone reporting before that a wolf had killed their sheep/goat when it was roaming free. It was never 100% confirmed, and it's unlikely to happen since their spawn point will disappear when you build too close, but in theory it could happen I think.

@totalwarzone:
You could try this and let the community know about the result.
I'm now curious too, but I do not have the patience to test this and my next wolf spawn is quite far away. :)
