Why is killing moose so hard?
I know a lot of veterans, players will say its not that hard, but killing a wisant or bear is so much easier. wisant and bears spend so much time posturing that you can get enough shots off to kill them. At least a moose runs if you dont make a kill shot first time.

Not sure what a one word reply, answers? if you mean a moose would run, fair enough, but a wisant/bear would react/charge not just threaten.

Aside from what seems to be more health, they're just like deer in that they run around their area. I agree that wisent and bear are easier to kill but that's because they come at you, making it easy to get headshots off on them. With bears you can stay on their side as they try to bite and just smack them while they're trying to get an angle on me as well.

Currently most "non aggressive" animals seem much harder than those that attack you. Since the last update Bears/Wisant can be killed with a couple of iron arrows, boar and wolves you could always kill with one head shot. Deer and Moose are difficult because you can seldom get close enough to kill with a head shot (unless you are a really good/lucky shot) and once you have to chase them it gets really hard,

Pre the coop update they were easier because you could stalk them much closer.

Agreed. Bears and wissent are pushovers if you know how they act. I'm more scared of wolves sneaking up on me than a bear or wissent XD

Moose are easy once you have a bow. You can just walk and lead your shots to hit where they are running same as deer. Just takes some practice, once you get good with the bow any animal is easy to take down.

I am currently using poisoned bronze arrows and kill moose in 2-3 hits.

If you have the sneaking skill maxed, you should be able to get close to them and try for head shots. I have the iron crossbow and iron bolts and I can get close enough to get a head shot that kills them in one hit(moose that is, wissen take 3 head shots).

Bison would be the hardest to kill in that case..

I use a cross bow and find it harder to kill certain animals as well. I use copper bolts, maybe if I use the brass or iron it would kill them faster.
