Using AI is fine. What point are you trying to make?
This is subjective, as I do not hear any such thing. All I hear is a voice as if a person was speaking. You do not like the voices, fair enough, but stop calling something lazy solely because you dislike it.
I just thought they are voice actors that are not top tier and/or not english native speakers...., didn't occur to me it could be ai generated.
I had the feeling something is very slightly off about the voices, but i didn't notice static or thought artificially generated...
The few Ai voices I've heard so far (outside the game) still lack expression. The voice of the beekeeper in my village, who is a woman, is quite convincing in her panic with the bees in her eyes. She's my favorite.
