Have they redone the voices in Racimer's Valley since Oxbow?

Does anyone know if this is true because the voices in Racimer's Valley now are just horrible. Sounds like one guy with a bag over his head trying to pretend he knows how to do voice acting. Let's see, if I hold my nose and talk out of my throat, gagging a little, they will think I'm some old crone... not so much. Dreadfully awful and totally American accents now, or maybe AI at its worst. What am I missing here? The voices used to be charming with a decided eastern European flavor and was one of the things I felt really gave the game some of its indie flavor.

It was not like this before Oxbow. Now It's just flat embarrassing.

They used to say only hello, goodbye or good day and things like that; now they have the same voice functionality as in Oxbow. Not sure if their voices for hello, goodbye, etc have also changed. And I don't remember how my own villagers sounded, so wouldn't be able to tell if it's different now.

I am talking about the vendor npcs in old valley. They are shockingly different and goofy sounding but hey, maybe it's just me.

Yeah, the ones they have for some of the vendors are horrible. The clothing vendor in Piastovia is only 57 and the voice sounds like someone closer to 87 or 97. The woodcutter in Klonica is only 54 and he looks like he's on Death's doorstep, with voice and dialog that's closer to 104. It actually annoys me that NPCs so young have voices so old. I know I sure didn't sound that old when I was in my 50s.

I agree, I went back to the valley after getting tired of Oxbow and when I heard the vendors I was shocked at how awful they mostly are now.

To be fair, being in your 50's in medieval times was like being 120 years old
