Will POI's respawn at some point?

Really enjoying the new map, my village is growing slowly, got iron tools now and my first horse has grown so I don't have to run everywhere.
I explored a lot already, am in year 5 or something (7 day seasons) and noticed that sometimes bandits respawn at points of interests but all the barrels and crates stay empty.

Now a friend of mine is thinking of joining and I wonder, will there be anything for him to explore and find at some point or did I "spend" the map for myself now by exploring alone?

I have found that sometimes loot appears again in the abandoned buildings but it's never as much as the first time you loot it. Bandits can spawn in them as well and you can loot them of course.

Abandoned camps, carts and chests and stuff can (re)spawn anywhere on the map after season change.

Ah well, so not completely worthless to explore.
Funny enough, had an iron pickaxe respawn the other day in a abandoned house in the north, but nothing else.
