Insulation in Food Storage
Does wall insulation effect the efficacy of food storage in keeping food from spoiling? Anyone know?

It does not.

It's mostly just for the visual effect. The only thing it does just like in all non-residential buildings is to very minimally affect how quickly the building needs repairs.

It makes it so it doesn't distract me when I figure out which buildings actually still need insulation. I consider that good enough

I destroy often walls from my buildings (for design and optical reasons) and they keep still in function. I like for example the look of an open sewery, so I delete regulary the 4 entrance walls so I can look inside and don't need to use a door. And I can craft everything inside. Also the hen stable. I bulid it open without a door and they nonetheless give eggs and feathers

That's funny, none of my stables have doors, only entrances which are always open and the animals can come & go as needed. Only the donkey / horse stable has doors to the tack rooms.

Wow. I've been playing for over three years and never knew this. I'm not sure I'll use this but knowing I have the option is nice. Who knows, maybe I'll incorporate it at come point.
