How to marry someone in COOP?
im as a joined player playing on my partners server. I have 100% affection with one villager, but still cant marry this NPC. How come, does it require something else?

Not as far as I know.
My friend was the host and I rushed to marry this girl, and got to marry her in winter year 1.

It worked the same as always. 100% romance and then "lets get married" option. It's a really lengthy monologue option from your character, something like "I can't imagine a life without you, my life would be really hollow without you at my side at all times, dear BLA BLA BLA" and thats all that's needed.

When you say you can't marry the npc; do you mean the option isn't there?
What options do you see when you pick the romance dialog option? Check the first one, that should be a rather long one ending with you proposing.

What about the expensive gift you require?

No expensive gift is required. When flirting you only need to talk to them and pick the right choices to get their affection to 100. Once it's 100 you can marry them.

Trevor's playing Stardew Valley, there you actually need a 10000 Gold item to marry someone on top of a upgraded house, but MD is not Stardew Valley.

Just get your romance to 100 and marry.

Yeah, the point was that the option is completely missing. 2.0.0.5 update, game started in 2.0.0.4. no mods, vanilla.

Is the romance dialogue supposed to allow you to keep romancing them straight away to 100%? last i remember you could only say one or few things to increase affection trough one day.

Yes, I noticed you can romance them to 100% in one talking session, which seems like a bug. I still got the option to marry though.

The marry option should be the first option in the dialogue and it starts by saying something like "I never felt like this before....blah, blah, blah..." I don't think the word marry is even mentioned.

Can you take a screenshot of the first dialog option you see when you pick romance?

Can confirm that that is indeed a bug and it's supposed to be working as before, that you can only flirt maybe 3-4 times before they ask you to return the next day. The devs are aware.

Yeah I thought it was a bug.
It was almost like "married at first sight, medieval style" :steamhappy:
