Until what age do adults work?
Children will soon become adults.
However, in my game, I only have 18 more buildings to build.
I'm worried about the new generation's housing and workplaces.
I have already set the number of buildings to 200%, but it is not enough.
If adults could at least retire from work at age 50, they would still have some leeway.

I have a game (valley) with (if I remember right) a workforce of well over 100. No problem finding them work.. 6 to each mine, 6 in each barn, 4 in the hunters cabin.... and so on. Just max out the workforce in every work station and if you need to, turn down the productivity. If you still have unemployed... another mine = 6 workers. You don't need to house them near the mines... just leave them where they are, they start work as soon as work time starts, they do not need to be at the mine so no new houses.

Hope this helps :-)

EDIT:-
Just loaded it up and checked.
Village age 49 years
Population 143
Building 110/140

Oh, is that so? I have two mines, and even though there are terrain issues nearby, I did my best and built three houses, a warehouse, and a food warehouse. I did it in two places.
I thought it was necessary since it was so far away from the main city center.
I was greedy. ``I want some more eggs,'' he said, building three chicken coops...
We will reduce various things. Thank you very much!

You don't need houses anywhere near the workplace. EXCEPT farmers. Once they start the 'long walk' they are working...the product production starts straight away. You don't need stores near them. Even if the store(s) is / are miles away the workers will magically get what they need and put the produce in.

I have 3 mines one for copper one for tin and one for iron... that gets rid of 18 workers (I think they are at about 2% -5% working.

Glad I helped out :- )
Although I do always build a house near the mine for my miners simply because it looks so silly having them spend their entire 24hr days walking back and forth from the village.

(and I feel sorry for them....)

I have a game (on Valley) with several small settlements. Almost all the workers walk the roads to go to and from work... They live in one and work in another. I did it just so the map tends to be more alive with people wandering the roads..

Each to there own... The beauty of this game :-)

Your computer wouldn't be able to handle that much.

It may not be possible.
I'm already having some performance issues.
I'll do something. Thank you for answering.
