Multiple jobs for one villager
How do you do this? Every time I assign him/her to another building, he/she no longer is appointed at the previous. For example, I have a lady set to gather logs, but I also want her to pick up manure. Once I set assign her to pick up manure, she is no longer a woodcutter. Would be lame and boring for a villager to just do the same thing everyday.

Any help/suggestions or links appreciated.

I'm afraid it's just one occupation at a time.

You can only assign villagers to 1 job at a time. No way to have them do multiple jobs.

This is borderline slavery and yes, whips should be included ....on a more serious note... I find this part of the challenge of the game, every season or part of, filling the gaps your villager are not meeting, or filling them yourself. Personally I dislike the automated village. I see an issue and re-route resources (people) or plug that gap myself. Unless it's something I find boring .... then allocate a 'serf' to do it...lol

Job-wise that's what they did, it's what most of us still do. Just one job.

I generally have 1 or 2 people in my village who are 'spare' and I use job switching to up-skill them ... jobs like water carrier, builder, animal breeder, etc are great for this as, until your village is huge, they only need to be done once or twice a season. Some of these spares also cover 'maternity/paternity' leave

Before I go to sleep at the end of each day, I make sure I switch these people around and put them where I need to then save the game ... and kick myself when I get tied up in a quest, forget to do it and find out I have to muck out the pigs at the end of the day :steamfacepalm:

I usually have some ppl in non-essential jobs that basically just produce stuff to sell or the base-material for those to switch them in when women take their 2 years baby-care time.
not sure its slavery. they can just leave if they want. you are taking people from a "tent life" and giving them a house, food and asking them to contribute to the success of the whole.....more....communism than slavery?:) I mean might b e cool if they got paid, had to buy their own food, and decorated their own house.....but maybe that is a bridge too far....and not very medieval.

I think 1 person should be able to do many jobs- its called multi-tasking. Ask any woman

Well this isn't real life, it is a video game.
