Animal Breeder not collecting Manure

Has this been changed and they no longer collect manure from the pigs?

Are you talking about the visual manure that you see laying on the ground? Because that was never collected by the npc's.
It's there for the player only to interact with, just like the eggs and feathers in the goose and chicken nests (was added so that people who want to play as a hermit without villagers can also get animal products).

hmm yah I thought the villagers collected the manure from the ground for you. Alright I will have to make sure to keep a eye on it then.

They do (or should) collect manure. What you see on the ground is just extra bonus you can collect yourself. Personally I'd quite like an option to turn it off because if you like a clean animal pen you are pretty much forced to collect it every day.

Hmm I have not had my animal breeders put any manure into storage yet. Only manure I am getting is what I collect off the ground of the pig stalls.

Did you set their task in the management of the pig sty? Like 100% collecting manure?

Well that would be my issue then lol. I didn't think to set any task for the pigsty, its just pigs figured it was automatic lol. Thanks when I play tonight I will set them.
