Where's my house?

I got the necessary materials and built my house... But nothing actually appeared. I built it just outside of the starter village, and it cleared the patch but that was it?

I used inspector mode and it's showing the text for it. I can't build another house because I've somehow exceeded the limit?

Also just wondering... how can I keep myself warm in the game? I tried going into other peoples buildings but I'm still cold. Idk how the npc's are still alive

You have to physically build it piece by piece, equip a hammer and you should see the outline of the first section to be built which will be the foundation.

When you place a building you're really only placing a blueprint.

Looks liek you jsut put down the blueprint and now have to actually build the house. It is not a 1 click you have a house. You have to use the hammmer and build the foundation then the walls then the roof by collecting the resources needed and using the hammer to build it.

You probably only put down the foundation. When you equip a hammer you should see your unbuilt foundation and then you can finish your house.

You can keep warm by going into your own house, equip warmer clothes and holding a torch.

Definitely look at the knowledge tab. You'll find a lot of info there. As a matter of fact, the first time you build, you get a pop-up about building that's also in the knowledge tab that explains with a little video how to do it.
